What I thought was going to be a 4 month trip to South East Asia turned into a year and a half adventure around the world. This project is the product of simply doing what you love. The product is a travel photography site like no other. Full-screen images with options to purchase prints. The Youtube channel supports and the same ideal through video. This major challenge was how to take the next steps with travel photography sites. Most sites focus on smaller images. The overall goal was to sell large prints to customers globally. The video component allows customers to meet me indirectly with the full-screen images displaying the most intricate details of the scenes. The selling process was again simplified into 3 options of size and medium.
This upcoming spring we are releasing more videos showcasing the bucket list or top 3-5 things to do in areas that I travel. My hope with that video project is to bring more potential customers to the site via Youtube. Through research plus experience found that it was no surprise that most travel photographers are not in front of the camera as often. We look forward to where this product ends up. Stay tuned.
